Howe Drive 

The owners of this 1960s four-bedroom house wanted to modernise, warm up and expand their tired, cold and difficult-to-use house. The mid-century house was beset with challenges: for many months of the year, the dining room/conservatory was too cold in the winter and too hot in the summer thereby making it barely usable, there were too few bedrooms, and there was only one office when two were required.  Hardvendel Design completely renovated, modernised and expanded the house. It is now a five-bedroom, fully-usable, contemporary, light-filled home with a modern exterior that complements the updated interior.
